Like New! A beautiful Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered tapestry panel. The gorgeous hand stitched tapestry has what is referred to as the forbidden stitch, the stitching is so close together and so well done it was said to cause blindness the person executing it. The scene on the tapestry shows child fishing from a bridge, with a flying butterfly, water and a temple next to a tree. Set against a blue background with intricate layered borders. Circa 1900-1920

Approx. Dimensions: 12" L. x 8 3/4" W.
Comes with original tag branded as "Dun Huang" (敦煌 in Chinese) and associated with "Beijing," China.
