200th Anniversary Capt. Robert Gray's discovery of Gray' River May 13 1792 Only 18 of these were double cancelled in the Gray's River Post Office ( which no longer exists ) & the Astoria Maritime Museum The first cancellation was May 9th 1992 in Gray's River & the second cancellation was in Astoria at the Maritime Museum on May 13th 1992 . They did not have any commemorative stamps so we had to use what was available. These envelopes have been kept in a safe place for over 30 years & need to be displayed for public viewing.
