Due to some personal reasons I am trying to sell this very rare car. 1942 had all automobile companies stop production of cars and were forced by the government to make war machinery. This car is #1232 of 1568 build of this top of the line double dater coupe and is a unique model to this year. The car was painted by the second owners husband but he died before he could finish the restoration. The car was sold and sat for 10 years with no work done. In the past 9 months I have installed a NOS wiring harness, installed new exhaust system, replaced the original motor with a good running motor, rebuilt the starter, installed a new master brake cylinder, and many other new parts. The car has a 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed OD transmission. It is running quite well and made its inaugural reintroduction into the modern world in a lighted Christmas parade this last week. It is now ready to be your Christmas gift to a loved one or your self. This is one of two Studebakers I have for sale. I have arrived at a point in life I need a class B or small motor home so I hope to sell one of these cars. I am open to trades towards that end.
