These are quite thick copper wire cables sure to transmit all the power you need to get your car started again.
These cables have alligator clips to attach to the posts of your battery.
The great news about these jumper cables is that they are longer than most, at 12'. And the insulation on the copper wires is nice and pliable. Thus, the cables are easier to handle.
