I have two each, of one size (Model 4979-15), and one each of the smaller. Total of 3. They are similar in style, by Sea Gull Lighting.
Suitable for damp locations.
Some might just want to salvage the ballast. It was made in the USA, in PA. It is 5 7/16" long, slightly less than 1 7/8" wide, and 15/16" deep.
Each takes fluorescent T5 type bulbs. (The label says F13T5)
Both fixtures are in excellent shape. They have a translucent cover over the bulbs that disburse the light evenly. Each fixture has mounting holes in the top for easy installation under the cabinet.
These are not limited to undercabinet applications. You can mount these anywhere. We have some of these in the closet. Many use this style for a work bench or potting station.
The length of the larger fixture is 42.5”. It is 5” front to back and 1.25” in height.
The length of the smaller fixture is 33.5”. It is 5.5” front to back and 1” in height.
Each fixture takes two bulbs. The larger fixture takes two of the same sized bulbs. That bulb is 20.25 long, not including the contacts. The smaller fixture also takes two bulbs: 20.25 long, not including the contacts, and a smaller bulb: 11.25 long, not including the contacts.
Mounting hardware comes with at least one of the fixtures.
And I have a plug-in fluorescent undercabinet light. Just $10.
From a smoke free, pest free home.
The picture shows the wonderful shape they are in and absolutely clean.
