4 month and 2 month old Barred Rock hatched on our farm from free range Barred Rock parents. (4 month old hatched with incubator, 2 month old hatched by Broody hen.)

We ended up with mostly male babies and rather not kill them. Barred Rock are not aggressive. The dad is a great provider and protector of his flock.

Barred Rock produce brown med-large eggs eggs. In good weather I get 5-7 eggs per chicken. Right now we are getting 1 every other day.
