This is a versatile string trimmer by Ryobi that will run on either the 18V 2.0Ah lithium ion battery it comes with, or with an extension cord to 120V power. It adjusts for height and arm length and looks like it just came from the store! The string self-feeds when it decelerates to almost a stop instead of tapping it on the ground, which is less wear & tear. The spool is easy to restring and the package includes a tube of 3 additional full spools as backup to quickly switch out if you’re trimming a lot at a time. The battery holds a good charge and the charger works great. The shaft will lock in horizontally to trim or vertically to edge the sidewalk.
I have had a cordless Ryobi string trimmer for years and it works so good that I don’t need this one as a backup. This one is nicer than mine and costs less than what I paid for mine years ago!
