We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. PCC students due to graduate this year encouraged to apply!!

We are currently offering a $1,500 signing bonus with our hospital (for those outside of VCA). Looking for candidates that are currently licensed in Washington state or looking to get licensed in Washington. We will consider second year technician students who are set to graduate this year as well!

THE POSITION

We value our Licensed Technicians and really utilize them for what they went to school for!
Technical skills must include but are not limited to:

• Anesthesia
• Dentistry
• Radiography (including dental)
• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Patient care
• Medical record documentation
• Client education
• Laboratory knowledge
• Restraint skills
• Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
• Work collectively in teams and alone
• Phone etiquette
• Triage and critical thinking
• The ability to mentor and teach others

Vancouver, Washington is located on the north bank of the Columbia River and is the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon.
