Scott Walker is an incredible guitar builder in California. Hie builds are so much in demand that his queue has gone over 4 years(!!) and he has stopped taking new orders. Last I saw his prices posted, I think his lowest price quote was at or near $10,000. His website currently has deleted all prices. However, you can check on line. Willcutts Guitars currently has two in stock, with list prices of $16,000 and $22,000. Mine are, perhaps, as good and substantially less. Check for yourself.....
The Phantom is a guitar that has a combination of features that accentuate the unusual wood choices leading to amazing sustain, resonance and tone.
The Phantoms electronics feature custom Single coil blade pickups by Lollar. sort of in the Jazzmaster mode. It has minimalist approach to the controls, yet a unique variety of options. There are two different preamps, Walkers unique Unity Gain Buffer, as well as his FET style Booster, both with on/off switches. This allows the Passive option, as well as a choice of either preamps or both!

Electro
The Electro has familiar ergonomics and a classic vibe, sor of along tha lines of a Stratocaster, BUT..... – the Electro is an inspiring 25.5″ scale guitar. This modal is a culmination of the last 14 years of full-time guitar building. Keeping the aesthetics simple and classy, as well as the woods, but maximizing the potential of the structure with the Walker “Nodal” neck joint and extended tenon and deep set bridge.
Per Walker, attaching the neck to the body at the guitars Nodal point excites the guitar as its strummed or plucked, enriching the playing experience and tone with sustain, clarity and a very musical timbre. The bridge is machined aluminum and sunk into the body by 1/2″, and bolted on through the back of the guitar. This gives the shortest overall string length (top loading) for easy bending. The coupling provided by the rear mounting bolts assure for maxim energy transfer and sustain.

I am asking $8,500 for the Electro and $9,000 for the Phantom. Check out the specs and pictures and see if you can find anything their equal without a much higher price tag.
Not looking for trades at this time, as I am in need of downsizing. However, I may consider a partial trade if there is something interesting enough. TBH, there is not too much I am looking for at this time.
Please provide a phone number if you would like to discuss thee fine instruments.
Compare these to such as the high end guitars from Nik Huber and the Paul Reed Smith Private Stocks models for beauty, quality, versatility and looks. Like getting a top end PRS at a discount! And break outta the rut of the typical Gibson or Fender, for sure.
