Up for sale is my November 1964 Pre CBS Fender Champ amp in excellent condition. One of the very first Black Faced Champs made after the black tolex/tweed transitional Champs. This amp has lots of volume and head room with great tone and is very quiet. Very little patina on the chrome and a few minor marks on the tolex and grill cloth. The tube chart “NK” is November 1964. The early Champs and some other early Black Faced Pre CBS Fender amps did not come with the faceplate/logo on the grill cloth. The transformers date the 39th and the 34th week of 1964. The Oxford speaker is dated February 1965. Some of the caps have been replaced as well as the power tube and preamp tube. The power cord has been replaced with a 3 pin cord. This amp has no issues and ready to be played for another 60 years. I am asking $1195. If interested, you can reach me at 503 789 eight three 82 between 9am and 9pm.
