The Super Distortion is one of DiMarzio's original pickups that changed guitar playing for good. Sweetwater guitarists and platinum-hit players alike count on the Super Distortion’s classic power and tone. Its design will send your tube amp straight into overdrive, courtesy of its high-output ceramic magnets. Both single notes and chords are huge, with thick boosted mids, fat highs, and enhanced lows. The bridge position is a fan favorite, but a Super Distortion in the neck is a quick ticket to nailing beefier tone on lower-gain amplifiers. And these pickups are super versatile, too! With the Super Distortion’s 4-conductor wiring, you’ll have instant access to Strat-like split and series-parallel modes onboard.
