Altusen 8 Port CAT5 HIGH-DENSITY KVM OVER THE NET IP SWITCH (KH1508i). Connects 1 master (console) PS/2 Keyboard/PS/2 Mouse/VGA Monitor to up to 9 other systems over the network (RJ-45) using a dongle with two PS/2 Ports and VGA (1600 x 1200).

Includes a pair of rack mounting L brackets. Includes US three-prong power cable.

The purpose of the Altusen KVM KH1508i switch is that the signal from the monitor, keyboard and mouse is converted into IP packets that can be received on any machine in the Network. The client program does the same on your machine and sends it back. With a stable connection, everything works fine at any distance. Connection security is provided by password protection and advanced encoding technologies-1024-bit RSA, 256-bit AES, 56-bit DES, and 128-bit SSL.
