We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently and also lead a crew when needed. Most of our work is out of town, so this position requires someone who is willing and able to travel regularly.
This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC/R Journeyman with hands-on experience installing systems in both commercial and residential settings. Sheet metal experience, refrigeration experience, and EPA Universal certification are required.
What You’ll Do:
- Install HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects
- Read blueprints and help design HVAC systems when needed
- Test, troubleshoot, and verify system performance
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Work independently or lead a team of technicians and apprentices
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, and customers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure work complies with state and local regulations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- Sheet metal experience required
- Refrigeration experience required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required
- Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Class 5 Boiler license is a plus
- CDL is a plus
