Apex Mechanical, LLC is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial mechanical construction projects. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite activity, coordinating field teams and subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Position Summary:
The Site Superintendent will lead onsite operations from project startup through completion. This role works closely with project management, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects
- Supervise onsite workflow and coordinate activities between crews, subcontractors, and vendors
- Partner with Foremen to manage manpower, production, and jobsite priorities
- Maintain project schedules, including a 3-week look-ahead
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution
- Coordinate deliveries, subcontractor schedules, inspections, and site logistics
- Monitor project quality, progress, and compliance with safety standards
- Lead or participate in jobsite coordination and safety meetings
- Maintain daily reports, logs, progress updates, and photo documentation
- Identify field issues, initiate RFIs, and work with project management toward resolution
- Support project closeout, punch list completion, and final turnover
- Review and approve timecards as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction
- Strong background in one or more of the following: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or piping
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or field supervisor
- Commercial construction experience required
- Public Works experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety practices
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to obtain an enhanced driver’s license within 2 months of hire

Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $120,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
All work is compensated in accordance with prevailing wage rates.
