What Matters Most:
  • 6+ years of experience with purchasing in a plant environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office required
  • Experience in raw materials procurement
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Your New Role:

We're on the lookout for a smart, personable candidate to join the team at a long-standing bottling group that has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. They are seeking a Materials Manager who will support all purchasing functions from negotiating prices and terms with vendors to procuring packaging and supplies that meet budget and quality standards. You'll need some supervisory or management experience up front, as you will have one direct report and you'll coordinate with teams across multiple sites to manage the company's inventory and make sure there are enough supplies on hand to support new product development. Maintaining vendor relationships is an important aspect of this role and will help you get the inside scoop on trends in the bottling industry. As you learn the ins-and-outs of the industry and the role, you'll be able to implement process improvements that are sure to enhance this company's bottom line.
