I replaced the chain about every 500 miles regardless of what the wear indicator says. I recommend keeping up on the chain more with the E bike and I will include an extra new chain and an extra set of new brake pads as well.
Michelin E Wild Tires in size 2.8 are in great condition (set up tubeless)
The bike came with 3.0 tires (so if you want to go bigger they will fit)
The bike is fitted with rear rack mounts if you want to use it for commuting / adventure / etc.
