Property Development Technician
Help Build One of the Pacific Northwest's Most Unique Private Mountain Estates
Location: Lyle, Washington (High Prairie)
Position Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered for the Right Candidate)
Compensation: $35–45/hour depending on experience, plus performance bonuses, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional, hands-on individual to help build and maintain a one-of-a-kind 500-acre mountain estate on Washington's High Prairie.
This is not a typical landscaping or maintenance position. This is landscaping and building a variety of structures and features on the property. All equipment and supplies are provided, we just need your skill and passion to create something truly special.
Over the next 5–10 years, we will transform the property into a destination featuring:
Miles of walking and mountain bike trails
Scenic roads and bridges
Ponds, waterfalls, and water features
Greenhouses and food gardens
Fruit orchards and berry gardens
Pollinator meadows and native prairie restoration
Outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and gathering spaces
Recreation areas for family and guests
Beautiful landscapes designed to mature for generations

What You'll Do
Every day will be different. Responsibilities may include:
Property Development
Build and maintain walking and biking trails
Assist with road construction and grading
Install drainage systems and culverts
Excavate ponds and landscape features
Build retaining walls and outdoor living spaces
Construct fencing, gates, and property improvements
Equipment Operation
Mini excavator
Compact tractor
UTV
Skid steer (future)
Chainsaws and power equipment
Dump trailer and material hauling
Landscape & Garden Development
Plant orchards and berry gardens
Build and maintain raised garden beds
Install irrigation systems
Plant trees and native vegetation
Maintain pollinator gardens
Greenhouse operation and seasonal planting
Property Maintenance
Trail maintenance
Fence repair
Equipment maintenance
Snow removal (seasonal)
Fire fuel reduction
General carpentry and repairs
Project organization and material management
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who enjoys learning new skills and takes pride in creating high-quality work.
Experience in several of the following areas is preferred:
Equipment operation
Construction
Carpentry
Trail building
Forestry
Landscaping
Irrigation
Fencing
Concrete work
Welding (helpful but not required)
Mechanical aptitude
General equipment maintenance
