Franklin Manor, an established 37- unit apartment community, is looking for an Assistant Manager to work 10 flexible hours per week. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for all aspects of supporting the Property Manager in the successful management of the property. This position is required to live onsite and will receive a 25% rent discount in addition to an hourly wage! Cats and dogs are welcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES and ABILITIES
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for showing units and screening prospective residents, collection and tracking of payments, preparation of paperwork and notices, maintaining files and records, as well as light cleaning and picking up the property to ensure it always looks its best. Courteous relations with residents and vendors are essential to this position.

- Basic computer knowledge required
- Good oral and written communication skills including demonstrated knowledge of cell phone use including phone calls, email, texting and photographs.
- Experience with AMSI or YARDI a plus
- Ability to take direction and work effectively with others

REQUIRED SKILLS
The Assistant Manager must have great customer service skills and be punctual and detail oriented. The Assistant Manager must also have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and be self- motivated and energetic. Our Assistant Manager should also possess the ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail. Applicant must be able to pass a skills test, and if offered the position they must be able to pass a background investigation including criminal history.
