Antique bar cart, or tea cart, or liquor cart. Antique, but in excellent condition, with oversized wood spoked wheels with rubber tire gaskets. It can be used as a side table, a butler's tray, or a dessert cart. Well made, and a versatile functional piece of furniture.
The top of the table measures 27 inches long by 21 inches wide. There are two drop down wings, one on each side, that can be lifted up, and self-lock into place. With the sides up, the top of the table measures 27 inches long by 43.5 inches wide.
On one side of the cart is a decorative handle, or towel bar to hang a dish towel. On the opposite side of the cart, there is a hidden drawer tucked up under the table. The inside of the drawer measures 13.5 inches wide, by 19.5 inches long, by 2 inches deep. The drawer is perfect for holding napkins, bottle openers, coasters, shot glasses, and little, tiny, paper umbrellas.
The center level of the bar cart is a lift out serving tray, suspended on two wooden rails. It can be slid halfway out towards either side, or just lifted out and used separately. The tray measures 22.5 inches long, by 12.5 inches wide and is 2 inches tall.
The bottom level is a sturdy fixed base perfect for any storage needs. Wine bottles, glasses, ice buckets, base for wine bottles, glasses, or whatever storage needs you have.
I've had this piece for years, and it just doesn't fit our decor anymore. It is in great condition and has been well taken care of. All solid wood, no veneer. Well made by a craftsman from days gone by.
