Vintage Pre-1960's Nicholas Ungar Hat Box - Portland Oregon. Nicholas Ungar was a store in Portland Oregon, and was successful enough to be purchased by Nordstroms in the 1960s. Ungar was a Hungarian immigrant who started the upscale women's clothing store. The hexagon shaped hat box still has original tissue inside (NO HAT). Has tape mark at top of box, slight bend in lid and bit of tape on the side. Else in good condition.
