This offer is to buy-in to an LLC flying club based in Scappoose OR. The aircraft is a 1971 Cessna 177B (Cardinal, fixed gear). This is a VFR aircraft that has approx. 2800 hours on the airframe and has passed the wing spar and eddy current inspection and has had its annual completed the summer of 2025. The aircraft is hangared at the Scappoose Airport (SPB). It has a Lycoming O-360 180 hp motor (with approximately 600 hours/ approximately 1500 hours until the next overhaul), constant velocity propeller, leather upholstery, front occupant shoulder harnesses and is very well kept and maintained. After the initial buy-in of $25,000 (which makes you a part owner of the aircraft and can be refunded upon leaving the club) the members split the cost equally for hangar rental, maintenance including the annual inspection and insurance, (approximately $6000 per year, that would be about $1200 a year each between 5 members). Individual operating costs would be $30 an hour and fuel used i.e. topping off the tanks after your flight. The $30 per hour operating cost would go into the treasury to defray the yearly cost of its maintenance , hangar rental and insurance. I am seeking individuals who have the wherewithal to easily afford the buy-in and yearly costs who want to fly a very nice, well-maintained airplane.
