57cm vintage French Gitane 650b conversion! Top tube is also 57cm. This cool green late 70's Gitane gets all the compliments on the color.
This is a fresh build with used parts. So headset is overhauled. Nos vintage Sugino French bottom bracket, fun old 70's cranks. Set up with a single ring in the front and a cool drillium chain guard.
Vintage Suntour rear derailleur with fun alloy pullies. Used Suzi sealed cartridge bearings rear hubs on alloy 650b rims with panracer tires and Honjo fenders.
Modern but classic looking riser bars and tektro silver brakes and levers.
It's built with a mix of mostly 70's and early 80's japanese parts.
All new cables and housing. Lightly used vintage freewheel and new chain. Suntour power ratchet thumbie shifter up by the brake lever where it's easy to reach
