1970 Catalina 27 sailboat. Bought it to learn on a few years ago, haven't used it at all the past year, time to sell.
The good:
Has full set of sails in decent condition. Has zip cover for the main, nice bag to keep hank-on jib on deck
Danforth anchor with all chain rode
Evinrude 15 hp 2-stroke outboard works great
Tiller always stored inside the cabin when not in use, pristine condition
Running rigging replaced about 4 years ago
Old leaky aluminum frame windows all replaced with tinted acrylic
Moorage on Marine Drive with security gate, power, water, bathroom included. 290 per month (no liveaboards)
The bad:
The cushions were all moldy so I had to throw away the fabric covers when I first bought the boat. Buyer can have the (sanitized!) foam blocks if they want to re-cover them
The original pressurized alcohol stove doesn't work.
The electrical system is a bit of a situation which means the automatic bilge pump, lights, radio, and depth sounder don't work (no power)
Can still sail just fine, bring a handheld radio and come home before dark!
Let me know if you want to see it. I live in Salem but I can show it on weekends if you're serious. I really just want it to go to a good home that will use it more than I do
