Get in on the ground floor of a fast-paced and growing industry as Operations Manager for a vertically integrated premium cannabis company.

As one of the top indoor producers and wholesalers in the State of Oregon, our emphasis is on premium cannabis flower and other high quality products.

The Position:

We are looking for an experienced operations professional that has a demonstrated track record of leadership, and a broad-based knowledge of cannabis and hemp operations, from production, to processing, to wholesaling, and retail sales. The operations manager will be responsible for our Portland facility.


Develop organizational processes and information systems to support the broader organization in core areas: facilities, inventory management, logistics, personnel, and management of the company’s various OLCC and ODA licenses

Overall leadership and management of the licensed facility and personnel

Vendor, contractor, and insurer relations

Facilities management and rationalization to support all of the company's businesses

Cost control for facility operations

Develop and implement standardized processes in all areas of operations

Training employees in standard operating procedures

Safety of facilities environment, including OSHA and other agency compliance

Establishing operations plan, operations objectives, and strategies to attain

Ensuring availability of proper resources and staffing of operations and support functions. Manage other warehouse managers, administrative personnel, and support staff

Accountable for all inventory--cost, levels, accuracy, and management

Project and personnel scheduling and assignment of tasks

Hiring/ Firing/Assessments, and compensation determinations in consultation with executive staff

Performance and productivity of employees

Facility security and maintenance

Procurement of equipment and supplies

Regulatory compliance at the facility

Operations budget compliance

Productivity levels of team at all levels within labor standards

Skills and Competencies:

3-5 years leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing operation

Strong background in distribution and manufacturing information systems and operations (process) knowledge

High level of competency in Microsoft Office

Demonstrated knowledge of logistics

Competence in project management

Competence in process improvement models and their application

Ability to build, develop and retain strong leadership team

Autonomous, self-starter

Superior planner and organizer—strong on follow-up

Holds self and others accountable. Sets clear expectations.

Demonstrated achievement orientation

Ability to facilitate growth of team members through training and development

Works effectively and productively with others

Financial/accounting function knowledge—understands key financial measures and uses financial tools

Strong overall leadership skills

Salary and Job Requirements:

Base salary dependent on experience, possibility of including incentive-based pay
