This is a two night, three day training. This is entirely held outdoors.

Night 1 ) We'll start with introductions and a meal. (all meals will be cooked and eaten on the large open air deck. You'll receive your own waterproof, engraved survival kit on the first night. We'll go over the kit and talk about each item and its various uses. We’ll be demonstrating how each item is used (you'll get to use each item in the next two days). We'll have a question and answer session about the kit. We'll finish with learning to make Pine Needle tea on a BioLite stove (VERY high in vitamin A,C).
You can sleep in the large (off grid) cabin, or do like the instructors sleeping outdoors on property.

Day/Night 2) 7 AM We'll eat a fresh hot breakfast. Then we'll start walking the forest and learn how to collect things like pine pitch, how to identify/collect fatwood, and learn techniques to start fires, especially when it's cold and wet. We'll save some hard pine pitch to melt down later for our natural glue and homemade emergency torches. We'll talk about snare traps and deadfall traps (but we won't be harvesting any animals).
In the evening we’ll have Rib-eye, cowboy dinner at 6 pm. Then you'll light a fire using your kit and gathered items. We'll make and use the torches and have you actually use every item in your kit. After dinner we'll talk about how to pack your Go Bag (Bug out Bag).

Day 3) 6 AM, Fresh hot breakfast, then you'll prepare your glue and you'll use it to secure your fire steel to a custom made apple-wood handle. You’ll learn a variety of water filtration methods. We’ll go over an onsite natural shelter, discuss tarping and teach you some paracord skills, including knots, fishing and fire starting. The last few hours are for you to ask questions and practice anything you need more help with.

To sign up email or text your name and number and we'll call you back to lock in your spot(s).

We look forward to meeting you,
Mark and Jason
