Embark on an exciting 8-week journey with us, guided by Jordan Sun, through the enchanting realm of Fusion Bellydance. Our series is a magical blend of belly dance movements, fused with contemporary dance elements, crafted to help you truly embody and express your unique spirit.

Our aim is to create a fun and welcoming learning environment where everyone can feel comfortable and confident to express themselves through movement. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some previous dance experience, this series is perfect for anyone looking to learn and grow in the world of Fusion Bellydance. Each class will focus on building foundational techniques, such as isolations, shimmies and finger cymbal patterns, while also incorporating choreography and improvisation to develop your own personal style.

Finger cymbals, also known as zills, are small metal instruments that are an integral part of our Fusion Belly Dance experience. These tiny treasures add a delightful musical layer to our dance, creating an auditory spectacle that complements the visual beauty of our movements.

Playing zills not only enriches the dancer's performance but also helps in developing them a musician. It cultivates a sense of rhythm and musical timing, enhancing their understanding of the music they are dancing to. Furthermore, the simultaneous use of zills and dance movements improves coordination and left and right hemisphere synergy, leading to a more integrated and holistic creative experience.
By the end of the 8 weeks, you will have the opportunity to showcase your newfound skills in a performance for family and friends. We will dance our way to a fun and fulfilling experience!
