Here's a working Carrera Go GT Contest Set. Includes two working cars, other cars and accessories can be purchased on-line and at select hobby stores. These used GT Contest sets with a box sell for $100 plus on eBay and other such sites, so this is a great deal.

Hint: If you're looking at used slot cars and sets always carry a 9V battery to test them. The Carrera sets operate at 14.8V so a 9V battery will make the car work if it's in working order, BUT the car will only show roughly 2/3 of its real power since it was made for 14.8V power supply. This testing method will generally work with all electric slot cars and most HO scale electric train set engines as well.
