I have a 2000 s10 ext cab automatic 4x4 with a built 4.3l vortex v6. I bought the truck with a bad motor because I am a certified master engine builder and at the time I was working at a shop that allowed me to build the motor at the cost of parts. So I pulled the engine, and rebuilt the motor with the intention of keeping the truck so no expense was spared. I bored it .030 over, decked it, the crank was ground .010 under on the rods and mains, I rebuilt the rods with ARP hardware, I align honed the mainline with ARP main studs, I removed the balance shaft and the rotating assembly was fully balanced with new hypereutectic pistons, new moly rings, and new king rod and main bearings. I assembled the engine using all new parts. The heads had a complete three angle valve job, they were ported and polished, the cam was custom ground at .255 lift on both the intake and exhaust at 112 degrees of duration on both. The intake manifold was ported and polished and I put new headers on it as well. I used ARP head studs, Screw in ARP rocker arm studs, new spider injector, new timing kit, new timing cover, new oil pan, EGR fully deleted, electric fan converted, and I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. The point is that the engine is built like a tank and has enough power to pull a tank.

The catch is that I got the engine broke in, and at about 130 miles the computer, which I had custom tuned, took a crap. So the truck doesn't run and drive right now because it needs a new computer. Fairly cheap fix but I have run out of time and patience to keep dealing with this truck and I want it out of my driveway.

The rest of the truck is in decent shape. The exterior is a 5/10 and the interior is about the same. The stereo doesn't work, The gauge cluster didn't work when I bought the truck but I have a OBD-II gauge reader that tells you the temp, oil pressure, speed, rpm, fuel level, and more. I fully serviced the trans and rear end while I had the engine out and the tires are okay. Maybe 30% tread left. I put new ujoints in both drivelines... I can't remember what else I did. I've got about $2000 into the engine alone and it's worth around $3000 built the way it is. I just want the thing gone so I can move in with my life and not have to look at it anymore. Best offer takes it and the sooner the better!
