We are looking for a loving, reliable, and upbeat preschool teacher with the experience and ability to physically handle the demanding and rewarding job of managing 10 preschool children ages 3-5 yrs.

This position will be 40 hours/week, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday starting in September 2018 with the flexibility to decrease to as few as 30 hours/week beginning in October 2018.

• Willing to provide basic care (naps, toilet accidents, sanitization, etc.)

We offer our team:
• $15-$17 per hour DOE (see hiring pay scale below)

Requirements for ALL staff:
• Degree or extensive training in ECE
• Registry within CCD Central Background Registry
• Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
• Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Certification
• Current Food Handlers Certification
• Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety Training (online training)
• Ability to make a 10 month commitment (September 2018-June 2019)


In addition to the above stated requirements staff wages are based on the following experience:

• $15/hour:
o Minimum of TWO full years of experience working with young children ages 3-5 in a licensed child care setting
o CDA or some completed coursework in the field of early childhood

• $16/hour:
o Minimum of TWO full years of experience working with young children ages 3-5 in a licensed child care setting
o BA or BS with related coursework in the field of early childhood
o Step 7 or higher on the Oregon Registry

• $17/hour:
o Minimum of TWO full years of experience working with young children ages 3-5 in a licensed child care setting
o BA or BS with related coursework in the field of early childhood
o Step 10 on the Oregon Registry
