Wedding - Event Setup Help (PORTLAND)

We are looking for people who have experience setting up professional audio equipment, DJ gear, microphones, speaker systems, lighting, video walls, and general event production equipment. A background in live sound, audio EQ, signal flow, or troubleshooting sound systems is a big plus.
Most events take place on weekends, especially during the busy summer event season. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to get themselves to and from each event location on time.
This position may be available as either independent contractor work or W-2 employment depending on experience, availability, and fit.
Pay:
$20–$50 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include:
Setting up and tearing down audio equipment
Loading and unloading event gear
Running cables safely and cleanly
Setting up DJ booths, speakers, microphones, lighting, and video wall equipment
Assisting DJs, technicians, and event leads on-site
Basic sound checks and audio troubleshooting
Keeping gear organized and professional at events
Ideal candidates:
Have experience with live sound, DJ equipment, or event production
Understand basic audio setup, EQ, microphones, mixers, and speakers
Are comfortable lifting and moving production equipment
Are reliable, punctual, and professional
Have weekend availability, especially during the summer
Have their own reliable transportation
Can work independently and follow directions on-site
Have a positive attitude with clients, venues, and team members
