Farm forward restaurant, located in the idyllic beach setting of the Hamptons, Long Island, is looking for a kitchen team for our much anticipated second season. Our seasonal restaurant is linked to our farm down the road, and offers farm forward dishes that also features products from local fishermen, baymen, oyster farmers, dairy, etc.

The optimal team would tap into this ecosystem of fresh ingredients and create elegant, simple dishes that highlight the area. Our restaurant will build on our reputation of serving unique flavor combinations, that don’t overpower ingredients, and present them in an inspiring way. A lot of our diners join us three times a week, therefore a team capable of producing specials regularly is imperative.
Our establishment is team oriented. We want a staff that drives and pushes toward excellence, while also maintaining respect and kindness towards the rest of the house. Angry, belligerent chefs are a bad fit.
This restaurant is fine dining in a casual setting. We have outdoor seating, a 25ft long bar, and are a mile from the beach. We offer a casual breakfast and lunch service, and then close the day with a much-coveted dinner service.
We are closed one day a week for recipe r&d. We close in-between dayparts for kitchen changeover, pre-shift meetings and family meal.
We would entertain a single chef, but we feel that bringing a team of 3 or 4 over as one complete unit could be better. Local line cooks, prep cooks, and porter/dishwasher will round out the team.
We provide staff housing.
