Remote is less expense and more reliable than hiring an on-site bookkeeper.
Using an outside service means you have NO cost for employee matching Social Security, Medical Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, or Workers Comp.
I'm available to work with business owners in any part of the U.S., via internet, phone, email.
How I access your bookkeeping:
1. If you subscribe to Quickbooks Online, I would use a password to do the work there.
2. If you have Quickbooks installed on your office computer, the file can be uploaded into Quickbooks Online, and I can work there. (Note about Online: In the future, your books can be transferred back to your own computer, if you wish.)
Then..every month you scan/email me your bank statement, check register/ or check copies, credit card statements, etc. to do the data entry bookkeeping. I reconcile the bank & credit card accounts, and do the sales tax form.
If you're behind on bookkeeping, we can get caught up.
You will have an accurate Financial Statement at the end of each month, with no more quess-work about how the business is actually doing. At year end, your tax accountant will also love it.
Payroll: It would be most cost efficient to use a Payroll Service to run employee payroll.
I can recommend good ones, reasonably priced. I enter this expense into Quickbooks.
I charge a Flat Monthly Fee, which is usually between $ 120 - $ 160 for cash-basis books, depending on volume of transactions...
and between $ 180 - $ 220 for accrual-basis.
