Looking for pasture mate for 26 yo gelding who is good with kids (Gresham)

I have an older solo horse in pretty good physical condition that could use company. Looking for a horse in his same situation. He would probably prefer a mare, but overall just a horse that is easy going with other horses would be good. Here at our place, near Gresham, we have a good dry barn but just about 2 1/2 acres pasture turn out. I do feed pellets with supplements each day but like to mostly depend on pasture over hay over the year, so what we have here with 2 horses will require extra supplemental feeding. I also like to pasture manage. An ideal situation could be providing a horse that does not have shelter for the winter a place here, then after spring growth have the 2 horses go to your place where there is maybe more pasture but not as good of shelter for later summer through part of Fall. My horse is also good for giving little kid rides on, lead line or learning to ride at walk. He doesn't like to do alot of trotting, but will do some. He is a good boy and a neat personality horse, a thinker for sure. I know he would love it if I got him a companion that is nice to be around, no mean aggressive horse.
