PRIMARY CARE SERVICES
People with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) who utilize publicly funded services, die on average 25 years earlier than the general public. This is directly related to the worsening of non-psychiatric chronic health conditions. To address this Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is putting together a small interdisciplinary core team to design, build and grow its primary care capacity integrated within its behavioral health services eventually serving all 18,000 of our current behavioral health customers. We are recruiting health care professionals, with enough experience to know why this is necessary, and a passion for the cause.
