Introduction: Allies in Change is a non-profit social activist organization specializing in anti-domestic violence education and counseling looking for a new therapist to facilitate and co-facilitate groups working with abusive men and women. Come join our diverse and dynamic team!

Agency Description: Allies in Change is a non-profit adult psychological services center and social activist organization. We offer group counseling for men and women specializing in abuse intervention and anger management. We also offer individual and couples counseling for men and women for a variety of issues including: managing emotions such as anger, depression, stress, and anxiety; building greater intimacy and connection in relationships with others including romantic partners, family members, and friends; coping with significant changes and transitions in life related to relationships, work, family, health, and other issues; and identifying and addressing behaviors that can undermine one's happiness, such as addictions.

Employment Status: Part time

Days & Hours: Days and hours vary based on groups and appointments. Occasional attendance at Tuesday staff meeting requested, but not required.

Reports to: Clinical Director & Director of Operations

Compensation:$30.00 per hour dependent on experience. To be considered for this position, candidates should have the following skills and experience: A masters or doctoral degree in a clinical field. Commitment to social activism and the agency mission. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to handle stressful situations and/or clients. High comfort level working in a diverse environment. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
