Immediate opening for part-time assistant/receptionist in a caring, client service-oriented practice.
We employ a small staff that shares all duties to get the work done. We're like a family, so being a positive team player is something we value! We work hard and have fun while doing so!
Duties will include:
Answering phones- scheduling appointments, taking and returning messages for doctors and technicians, performing follow-up and confirmation phone calls each day
Using Advantage computer software for invoicing each appointment
Cleaning all areas of clinic, stocking supplies for treatments
Filing patient charts, ensuring all charts are prepared for next day's appointments
Greeting clients, escorting patients to exam rooms
Animal restraint/Assisting DVM with examinations
Filling prescriptions when approved by DVM
We use hand-written charts, so the ability to accurately and neatly chart records is important. Proper spelling is required (medical terminology is a plus!). Attention to detail and good listening skills is also necessary. Please have the ability to multi-task, use a multi-line phone system and be accurate and efficient when helping clients. We are looking for a hard-working individual that is eager to help whenever needed.
We prefer one year experience in a clinic setting. Previous customer service experience is a must!

Schedule is as follows: Mondays 8:45AM-5:30PM, Tuesdays 8:15AM-2:00PM, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:15AM- 5:30PM, Saturdays 8:45AM-12:30PM.
Some negotiation regarding schedule would be considered for eligible applicants.
