Now Hiring: Bench Mechanic – Small engines and compaction equipment

Pay: $28-$38 Hour D.O.E
Start Date: ASAP or Specific Date
We’re looking for a skilled Bench Mechanic to work on small engines and light construction equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. If you’re hands-on, detail- oriented and know your way around a machine, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
-Suitcase (portable) generators
-High-cycle generators
-Backpack Vibrators
-Compaction equipment (rammers, gas/diesel plate compactors, etc.)
-Pneumatic tools (Rivet busters, chipping hammers and paving breakers, etc.)
Requirements:
-2+ years’ experience as small engine mechanic (preferred)
-Able to lift 50+ lbs
-Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment
-Able to work independently at a bench
-Reliable transportation to and from work
-Accurately document repairs and parts used
-Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
-Own basic hand tools
-Able to work on Honda Engines
-Communicate clearly with service manager and team members
