We are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with exceptional skills and a commitment to client service.
Qualified candidates should possess at least three years of solid litigation legal secretary/legal assistant experience, with heavy emphasis on drafting and filing documents with state or federal courts. Comfort in working with a variety of software programs, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, and a thorough understanding of court rules and procedures is required. Candidates should also possess the ability to multi-task, take initiative, and remain calm under pressure in this fast paced, team-driven environment.
This is a full-time position in our Portland, Oregon office. The firm tries to be as flexible as possible when it comes to scheduling and is committed to maintaining a healthy work/life balance. This position will be scheduled to support the litigation group toward the later hours of the day (e.g. 11am - 7 pm).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation assistant who is looking for a challenge and to expand upon their skills. Prior experience with federal practice, ProLaw, SharePoint and database management is a plus.
