Estate Planning Legal Assistant

What Matters Most:
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of legal assistant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office required, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with trusts and estates a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
Your New Role:

If you’ve been looking to tackle a role that will challenge you more than a traditional legal secretary position would, this is it. You’ll need to possess the smarts, tenacity, and confidence to provide top-notch assistance to several attorneys in this Estate Planning Legal Assistant role. This role will see you performing the gamut of legal duties—researching, typing, and transcribing correspondence, filing with governmental agencies, monitoring email, and scheduling for your attorneys. A large part of the job is drafting pro forma documents, entering and proofing attorneys’ billable time. The must haves include a blazing fast typing speed, great spelling, accurate punctuation, and excellent grammar. This role is ideal for high-energy people who love keeping busy and doing meaningful work. You should feel comfortable in client-facing roles and be discreet in correspondence and communication.
