If you have two children who want to learn guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bass, beginner piano or beginner drums, I'm now offering a discount- two students for $50 within the city limits of Portland! Outside of the city limits, it's just $60, and I come to your home- this way, you don't have to worry about driving to a studio, being late, etc. If you want to take lessons with your child, or have a neighbor/friend who wants to learn instead, that works as well!
My name is Jesse, and I am a 30 year old independent guitar tutor. I offer lessons for acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, as well as ukulele and mandolin. I've been teaching professionally for over 7 years as a full time job, and I absolutely love showing people how to make music!
Lessons start at only $30 per half hour lesson, and $35 dollars for an hour long lesson, within certain parts of Portland! **Pricing varies depending on your location** Different lengths of time are also available upon request, and we even offer a multiple student discount. I strive to keep the cost of lessons as low as possible.
Lessons are available for children, teens, and adults starting at the age of 5 and up in the greater Portland and Multnomah area. This include SE NE SW NW and N Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Happy Valley, Gresham, Garden Home-Whitford, West Haven-Sylvan, Cedar Mill, Cedar Hills, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, and more!
What sets me apart from other tutors and teachers? I work closely with the desires of your children, teaching them the basics while working with the songs and styles they want to learn. This helps to maximize their progress, while keeping lessons fun, exciting, and informative. I also teach according to parent's desires as well, including specific songs as well as sheet music and theory.
