My name is Matt Hagen and I am a high school math teacher and tutor and would love to work with you to achieve these goals. I have been teaching high school math for the last 17 years, most recently at Lake Oswego High School. I have taught classes ranging from pre-algebra through Pre-Calculus, coached math clubs, and tutored students of all levels. I have a BS in mathematics and a Masters in Education from Portland State University.
I can help you succeed with specific requirements in your school and personal math journey, from understanding and completing your homework to preparing for a classroom test or working through the math section of college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, etc). We can also work on general improvements in mathematical thinking, test taking skills, problem solving fun tasks and being more confident and creative playing with mathematics. I can meet in person or virtually using interactive software.
Sessions $80/hr.
