compensation: Excellent compensation package!
employment type: full-time

From start to finish it takes a well-oiled machine to keep a leading-edge manufacturing company, like Axiom Custom Products running smoothly. Axiom is a skilled team of creatives and craftspeople who balance proven construction methods with state of the art technology. We produce quality custom products with efficiency and dedication and we deliver!

Our services are distinct and dynamic--with innovative designers, experienced project managers and supreme craftspeople, we can do it all. We specialize in retail displays and environments that immerse clients in the brand. We customize the atmospheres of 5-star restaurants to rival the food. We modernize hotels or restore them to their original beauty. We carve, sculpt, cast and finish statues for monuments, museums, retail stores and trade shows.

At Axiom we understand that efficiency, quality, and value are no longer a list to be sorted in order of importance; we care about all equally.

The Project Manager manages projects through their designated team, reporting to a Sr. PM that delegates projects and works with other construction PMs, a SolidWorks Engineer, and a 2D Programmer. They are instrumental in estimating, planning, development, production, and installation phases of the project life cycle. They have a direct connection to the profitability of Axiom. This requires they learn the process of project management and production at Axiom, inside and out, and then execute it. They are responsible for developing new relationships and maintaining on-going relationships with clients, general contractors, architects and designers.

You have deep understanding of how things are built, as you have fabricated hands-on for many years. You have exemplary communication skills and thrive when working in an active environment against tight deadlines. You have an excellent attention to detail -- you love the craft. You are comfortable and confident in managing what you know how to build and you are into being an integral part of a team. You are highly motivated, organized, a collaborator. Managing budgets and workflow comes second nature. Drawings, the computer and spreadsheets are familiar tools. You enjoy the challenge of managing multiple projects, clients, and resources at a time. You are able to quickly learn specifics about our industry including materials, production processes, millwork/casework, trade shows, and retail environments. You are committed to ensuring project excellence. You'll be checking in with clients, visiting the project site, etc.; frequent local travel requires a local driver's license and a clean driving record.

Our way of life promotes hard work, but health and family always come first. We ask employees to give us their all, and in turn, we help them live a rewarding life with the balance they need to enjoy their career at Axiom. We offer an excellent salary, 6 paid holidays, 401k and Roth investment options, medical, dental, vision (coverage for the employee only is less than $100 for all three with dependent coverage offered at additional cost). Best yet, at your first anniversary your paid time off jumps up to four weeks!
