After 30 years of GS Ownership, dozens of bikes and who knows how many luggage systems, this is the nicest equipment I have ever used. After selling my '16 GSA I thought I would customize this rack and swap it onto my 1300 but I broke down and bought the same thing for the new bike.
Excellent construction, quality and durability, this system does it all. My favorite little feature is that the lids stay in whatever position you stop moving them, there's no hokey latch/hinge flopping around when the lid is open like the OE and others. The hinges are stout and structural. The hard cases, latch to the bike, and the toolbox are keyed alike and the kit comes with a handful of keys.
