Fender Jazz Bass American. Serial number dates it to 2001/2002. It does NOT have the the push pot on the tone knob. Fender must have started doing it right after. A previous owner sanded the neck down. It feels great but there are spots on the back of the headstock and neck base where the finish has flaked. It has not been an issue at all for playing. I tried to capture pictures of these spots. You can see the serial number is still in tact. Overall, it’s in good condition for a bass this old. I have the action set up pretty low. It is a great bass and have gigged with it a lot. Comes with a really nice Fender TSA hard case.
