2011 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro '50s
in perfect condition - still like new
Features a mahogany body and neck with arched maple top, rosewood fretboard, traditional weight relief, '57 Classic (rhythm) / Burstbucker 3 (treble) zebra humbuckers with coil tapping, and Grover locking tuners.
This is the first year of the Traditional Series with everything you'd want in a real-deal vintage Les Paul reissue, and more!
For the most part, this is a vintage correct classic Les Paul reproduction of the highest quality. With the vintage style weight relief, it's a full 10 pounds, giving it massive sustain you can feel through the body and neck. The Classic '57/Burstbucker-3 pickup configuration is about as close to P.A.F. sounding as you can find. It's got all the appointments of a classic Les Paul... and then more.
Modern amenities include Grover metal keystone locking tuners, a Nashville-style bridge, and push/pull coil tapping specifically designed to resemble P90 tones. Not very traditional features, but I forgive them because it might be the perfect Les Paul.
It has a traditional honeyburst finish, but a surprisingly plain looking carved maple top for a Gibson of this quality (no flame maple veneer). That's not why I bought it though. It's simply the best sounding, feeling, playing instrument I've ever laid my hands on.
Looks great, feels like a dream, works perfectly, and sounds AWESOME!
You'll have a really hard time finding a better Les Paul anywhere.
