Excellent for covering all the major types of effects out there in one bulletproof, all-metal unit. Uses nothing but physical knobs and switches to turn on and tweak the effects. No lcd screen menu scrolling at all, except for calling up saved presets.
The simple, highly tactile layout makes it perfect for beginner electric guitarists who don't want to spend several hundreds dollars on individual pedals but wants the ease of use of a traditional pedalboard. I personally have used it in conjunction with my HX Stomp to free up its processing power for running dsp-heavy effects on the Stomp.
