I replaced the Waring Mojotone pickups, which I found super flat, with a PRS Tremonti Treble pickup in the bridge position and this thing RIPS.
I also replaced the neck pickup with a Suhr SSV. I chose that one because that is the neck pickup that Plini used to use on his strandberg models before he got is signature pickups. The pickup is covered in a beautiful brushed raw nickel cover, which will patina and age really nicely - no cheap chrome here.
Both pickups were professionally installed at a guitar repair facility and PRS dealer, so rest assured it was done correctly.
The 5-way pickup selector is wired for:
Pos 1 - Bridge Humbucking
Pos 2 - Bridge Single Coil
Pos 3 - Both Pickups Humbucking
Pos 4 - Neck Single Coil
Pos 5 - Neck Humbucking
This guitar will get you massive and heavy Tremonti/Alter Bridge tones, liquid Plini phrasing tones, but it can also give you some real spank and snap or raw bluesy tones with the split coils. The bolt-on neck really helps to bring out some strat/tele with the split coils.

Comes with its original PRS Gig Bag and all the case candy/tags. Original Mojotone pickups are not included. The original black "CE" truss rod cover, not shown, will be reinstalled and the guitar will not come with the blank cover that is currently seen in the photos.
