Are you tired of playing the same licks in every situation? Would you like to play solos that have emotional content; solos that have a beginning, a middle and an end? Regardless of the style you play, there are certain ideas that you can use to give your solos melodic power and shape. Any player can start using these concepts and see improvement right away.
I have twenty-five years experience teaching guitar in all styles, both in private instruction and as a University of Hawaii adjunct. A graduate of GIT (Guitar Institute) in 1980, I have recorded music that has been heard in film, and on radio and TV. I'm currently playing in two bands in the Portland area and teaching full-time. I have a few slots left open, so, if improving your soloing sounds like a good idea, please give me a call or email.
