The Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group supervision to master’s level mental health therapists, primarily therapists serving child and adult clients on the Oregon Health Plan. They may also supervise Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHAs) and interns. The supervisor will provide oversight and support of administrative procedures and documentation requirements to ensure compliance with quality improvement policies and contract requirements. Ability and willingness to work within a managed care structure. The supervisor may also maintain a caseload of clients.
Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology. Must be licensed and able to provide supervision of therapists towards licensure. Must have two years’ experience in clinical supervision. Must have a total of five years’ mental health experience working with children, families, and adults with a minimum of three years’ mental health experience with children and families. Able to pass a criminal background check. Respectful, open, unbiased, accepting attitude toward clients and their families.
Should have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management and record keeping software. Changing and complex environment require leadership skills that alleviate employee distress and maintain quality of service. Ability to make quick and accurate day-to-day decisions based on precedent and/or experience.
