About The Position:
The Personal Agent position is the heart of our work, acting as a navigator for individuals and their families. PAs provide case management to adults with I/DD who live independently in their own or their family home. The PA's primary role is to ensure a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, and advocacy for options and services to meet each individual's safety and independence needs. PAs assist individuals with disabilities and their family with navigating and understanding the often confusing and sometimes challenging road to accessing quality supports. Caseloads are capped at 45.

Starting salary for this position is $45,000 per year. We offer a very handsome benefits package including 100% paid health and dental as well as 401(k) with 10% match. We offer life insurance and a Section 125 plan for all employees. Other benefits include an attractive PTO (paid time off) benefit and 11 paid holidays per calendar year including a birthday holiday.

This is a full time position with expected work weeks of 40 hours. Occasional paid overtime may be required. The first 90 days is a probationary period. This is a salaried, non-exempt position.

Position Qualifications:
Education and Experience- The Personal Agent must have knowledge of the public service system for disability services in Oregon. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field; OR a bachelor's degree in any field and one year of human services related experience, such as work providing assistance to individuals and groups with such issues as economical disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing; OR an associate's degree in a behavioral science, social science or closely related field and two years of human services related experience (as listed above) OR three years of human services-related experience. Experience working in a self-directed supports system strongly desired.

Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to customer self-determination and personalized support; possess strong written and verbal communication skills; show strong math and budgeting abilities; and proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

You must have daily access to reliable transportation as frequent travel will be required. Please come with a clean driving record and an Oregon Driver's License. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal history records check through Oregon's Criminal Records Unit.
